Situated in Potch Gully this is a B&B with a difference. We KNOW that you will find that this unique town and its style of living will provide you with an experience that you will never forget.
Ever since opal was discovered in Coober Pedy and miners moved to the area, dugouts became a preferred accommodation. Dugouts, being a relatively constant temperature, they provide comfortable living in the summer heat as well as when the desert winter nights chill surface dwellers to the bone.
Early dugouts in Coober Pedy were small, often cramped and badly lit, but with modern mining machinery, dugout builders are almost only limited by their imagination. As you can see with modern appliances and lighting, they provide an accommodation experience not to be missed.
